School Uniform

It is St. Mary’s policy that all children should wear uniform and be fully equipped for P.E.

Winter Uniform

Grey skirt or pinafore, grey tailored trousers or shorts

Maroon V-neck sweatshirt or sweat cardigan embroidered with school badge

Children may wear a knitted maroon V-neck pullover or cardigan

White, formal shirt or blouse, worn with school tie or white polo shirt

(Polo shirts do not need a tie)

Maroon and gold striped tie

White or grey socks

Black, sensible school shoes – no trainers, boots or flat ballet-style pumps

Warm, waterproof coat

Summer Term

Red and white checked school dress.

Plain white shirt/blouse with tie or polo shirt without tie.

P.E. Kit

Children come to school in their PE kit on their PE day – your child’s class teacher will advise you of their PE day.

Black shorts

Short-sleeved plain white top (additional to any polo-shirt worn in school)

Trainers (not boot type) for outdoor P.E.

If your child has sensory needs we are always happy to discuss appropriate variations to our uniform policy so please do get in touch. Hair below shoulder length should be tied up for safety and hygiene reasons. Jewellery other than simple stud earrings and a watch is not permitted. Earrings must be removed for P.E. and children should be able to do this for themselves. 

Ordering School Uniform

St Mary’s Primary School use an online company called Stitch Design, where you can order direct and have your uniform delivered to your house. Stitch Design will deliver within 3- 5 working days at any time of the year as they hold all uniform stock for us. School do not place uniform orders.

Orders

To be placed and paid for online direct to Stitch Design or alternatively you can collect an order form from school to place a direct order. This order form can then be sent direct to Stitch Design with a cheque made payable to ‘Stitch Design Ltd’ or you can request they contact you to take a phone payment.
 

Sizing

All the product listings online will have a size chart on each product for you to refer to when ordering. Samples sizes are also available in the school office.

Exchanges

As long as items have not been worn, nor have they been personalised with initials or name labels, then you will be able to exchange any items purchased that are the incorrect size for the correct size by contacting Stitch Design direct.

Delivery

There is a standard delivery charge of £3.30 on all orders
