St Mary’s is a small, one form entry Primary School situated on Cornhill Road in Davyhulme. We are an inclusive school community and our core values of ‘Faith Family Future’ are at the heart of all we do. If you are looking for the next educational step for your child and would like to find out more about what St Mary’s can offer you and your family, please take a look at our school website www.stmarysprimarydavyhulme.co.uk.

We appreciate that choosing your child’s Primary school is a hugely important decision and you should have the opportunity to find out as much as possible about all of your options. We will be holding three meetings for prospective parents to give you the opportunity to have a look round, find out more and to ask questions.

Exciting News!

Nursery Provision at St Mary’s

We are delighted to announce that from September 2024, St Mary’s CE Primary School Davyhulme is able to welcome Nursery age children to join our Early Years Foundation Stage Nursery/Reception class. Initially, we will be accepting children in the year before they are due to start in Reception i.e. children who are already 3 on 1.9.24. All parents are entitled to 15 hours free nursery care which can be accommodated as 5 mornings or 5 afternoons. If you are eligible for 30 hours childcare, full time places are also available. Additional hours for those eligible for 15 hours free childcare can also be purchased for a top-up fee, depending on availability. For children eligible for 30 hours who are staying for the full day, a small top-up fee is charged for lunchtime cover.

St Mary’s is a happy, exciting learning community. Everyone who works here, or visits, is made to feel welcome and valued.  We are a UNICEF Rights Respecting School, and everything we do is based on our school vision and values 'Faith  Family  Future - Building a positive future for all as part of God's loving family'. We provide a happy, loving, learning atmosphere, with close liaison between home, school, parish and the wider community. We are very proud at St Mary’s that we really are a ‘school family’.

If you are interested in your child accessing nursery provision at St Mary’s in September 2024, application forms are available to download here or via email from the school office.  If you have any questions, please do get in touch.
