Values Ambassadors

Our Values Ambassadors have been voted for by the children and have been chosen as they are regarded as responsible and respectful role models who can help promote the St Mary's Values of Faith, Family and Future.

Our Values Ambassadors are:

Alfie (Year 6)

Amelia S (Year 6)

Annie (Year 5)

Jaylen (Year 5)

Skye (Year 4)

Kayleigh (Year 4)

Kara (Year 3)

Faris (Year 3)

Freddie (Year 2)

Belle (Year 2)

The Year 5 and Year 6 children also form part of the St Mary's Rights Respecting School Team.

In September we introduced Amal, a 3.5m puppet of a Syrian refugee, to the rest of the school in a whole school assembly. Amal is walking across Europe to raise awareness of refugees and we are tracking her journey along the way. The end of her journey is in Manchester in November so we can't wait to welcome her to our city.

We are also raising awareness of a charity called Care 4 Calais which supports refugees. As we are a Rights Respecting School, we know that all children around the world should have access to the same rights and we are raising awareness to try and make the world a fairer place, where everyone has access to the same rights.
