English
In English, our first class text is 'There's a Boy in the Girls' Bathroom by Louis Sachar.
Maths

Art
In art lessons, we will be researching typography and having a go at creating our own typographical designs.
Geography
Geography will include mapping skills and researching the area around Salford Quays and Media City. We will look closely at human and physical features of the area.

Spring 2
Our new text in English is Cosmic. We started reading the book just before half-term and the children are thoroughly enjoying the story so far.

In our maths lessons, we are continuing to work on our understanding of short division and the related vocabulary.
Geography
Our geography learning this half-term is all about North America. We will be researching the different countries in North America, climate zones within the continent and the physical and human features of some of North America's countries and cities.

R.E.
In R.E., we are going to be focusing our learning on the religion of Judaism. The children are going to explore the importance of the Torah to the Jewish community.

Spring 1
In our English lessons this half-term, we are going to start with the text, Viking Boy. This text supports our history learning, all about Vikings.
History
History learning is all about the arrival of the Vikings and their relationship with the Anglo-Saxons.
Science
