Welcome
St Mary’s CE Primary School
FAITH FAMILY FUTURE
Building a positive future for all as part of God's loving family
St Mary’s is a happy, exciting learning community. Everyone who works here, or visits, is made to feel welcome and valued. We are a UNICEF Rights Respecting Gold Award School, and everything we do is based on our school vision and values 'Faith Family Future - Building a positive future for all as part of God's loving family'.
We are a Voluntary Aided Church of England Primary School enjoying close, positive links with our Church, St Mary the Virgin, Davyhulme.
We aim to provide a happy, loving, learning atmosphere, with close liaison between home, school, parish and the wider community. We are very proud at St Mary’s that we really are a ‘school family’.
We work hard to develop our pupils into caring, responsible members of society. We are proud to have achieved School Games Gold Award for our work in developing physical activity of our pupils, and also the UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools Gold Award. We have also won awards for our work to develop Music through the school and Healthy Active Lifestyles.
Here at St Mary’s, we believe that all children are unique and must be celebrated for the special gifts and talents that they possess. Each day we encourage our children to work hard, to have confidence and feel good about themselves. This way they will have the courage to make their unique contribution in the world and achieve personal bests every day. The children in our care are at the heart of everything we do.
If you would like to make an appointment to visit our school, I would be delighted to show you around.

Meetings for Prospective Parents
We appreciate that choosing your child’s Primary school is a hugely important decision, and you should have the opportunity to find out as much as possible about all of your options. We will be holding three meetings for prospective parents to give you the opportunity to have a look round, find out more and to ask questions.
Tuesday 14th October at 10am
Wednesday 15th October at 2pm
Tuesday 21st October at 5pm
If these dates are inconvenient, please do get in touch with the school office and we will arrange an alternative appointment.
We look forward to meeting you soon.
FAITH
We believe in the Christian ethos of our school, ourselves and each other.
(Mark 9:23 Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”)
FAMILY
We support, respect and care for each other.
(Luke 6:31 Do for other people what you would like to have them do for you)
FUTURE
We know that we can learn and live without limits.
(Isaiah 41:10 So don’t worry, because I am with you.
Don’t be afraid, because I am your God.
I will make you strong and will help you.
I will support you with my right hand that saves you.)
