Spring 1
In our English lessons this half-term, we are going to start with the text, Viking Boy. This text supports our history learning, all about Vikings.
History
History learning is all about the arrival of the Vikings and their relationship with the Anglo-Saxons.
Science
Science learning will be focused on space and the movement of Earth and other planets in relation to the sun. Watch the video below to learn at home.
Music
In music, we are going to be listening to South and West African music. In one of our lessons we will be learning to sing a traditional African song called Shosholoza. Click on the video below to have a go at home.
Autumn 2
English
Our new text is Beowulf by Michael Morpurgo.
We are reading the text, Hidden Figures in our English lessons. The text is all about discrimination and showing resilience when faced with adversity.
Maths
